INFINITY Lamp for Made by Hand has been presented at this year's 3 Days of Design.
INFINITY’s intriguing shape constantly changes, depending on the angle from which you see it. Your own movement makes INFINITY into a “moving” object.
The frame of the extruded aluminium profile is bent into the shape of a three dimensional ‘infinity’ symbol with an internally-mounted LED strip. Two 3D-knitted surfaces stretched across the frame encase the light and create a sculptural object that appears to hover weightlessly in space.
INFINITY can be hung horizontally or vertically, as you and the space require. It can be suspended over a table, or used as a stand-alone piece, by itself or in formation. It can organise your living space, the interior of a public building, or the space of a stairwell…
